Half term starts tomorrow, weather is wet and rather depressing here in London and looks set for the rest of the week, sigh! On the upside, new Legend Of The Seeker tomorrow on SYFY Channel UK and Supernatural on Wednesday Living Channel UK. Yay!

November 5 Bonfire/Guy Fawkes Night (UK)

On this day in 1605 Guy Fawkes was arrested in the cellars under the Parliament buildings, accused of plotting to blow up Parliament and the King. Ever since, each 5th November people all over the country light bonfires and let off fireworks in memory of the infamous Gunpowder Plot!
